Yearly Clambake Photos

07 Clambake Rawbar

The first Jane Lloyd Fund New England Clambake was held three years ago. The day was perfect! Good food and music in one great place at the bottom of Satre Hill, home of SWSA. A huge success again last year, we would like to thank the Sponsors, all of those who volunteered their time, sent donations and all of you who could attend. You have helped us continue our goal to help the victims of cancer and their families with some of the day to day financial needs.

Calendar of Upcoming Events

Throughout the year we will be busy arranging events to raise funds that will help area families deal with the daily battles of life with cancer and to do so with dignity. The Lloyd family will be holding these events to help raise funds for those who need the same help financially as Jane needed in her time of illness. In her spirit these events will bring us closer together to remember Jane and her unending pursuit to live life to the fullest and to remember her great strengths and inspiration.

The Annual Clambake returns! September 12th, 2009
MARK YOUR CALENDER - THE ANNUAL CLAMBAKE

Another clambake has come and gone. And, as in years past, it was a great success and enjoyed by all who attended. Despite the threat of rain, the weather was beautiful which added to the beautiful venue....SWSA's Satre Hill.

A big thank you goes out to all the volunteers, sponsors, donors, musicians, cooks, cyclists, the Lakeville Hose Company, SWSA, and all who attended. And of course, none of this would be possible without the support and guidance of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation. The support and generosity of all continues to amaze each of us.

Please set aside September 12, 2009, the date for the 4th annual Traditional New England Clambake. Keep checking the website at a later date for more details!!

NOV 09 - THE JLF SNOW MOON DANCE Snow Moon 2008 Dance Flyer

Well we all hope you enjoyed the third annual New England Clam and Lobster Bake. And now we hope you and your whole family, young and old will join us for the fourth annual Snow Moon Dance in November at the White Hart Inn in Salisbury. An evening of fun, dancing and conversation with old friends who found their way home for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Last year the evening started at 7:00 pm with the music of The Joint Chiefs. Their diverse selection of music from folk to rock filled the dance floor at the sound of the first note. Then at 8:30 the premiere dance band in the tri-state region took the stage - Advanced Funk. This high energy band with their three peice horn section sparks everyone in the room to move their feet.

So come join us for the evening to support The Jane Lloyd Fund. Like many of Jane's friends and neighbors who helped her in her time of need while she fought cancer, 100% of the proceeds from the Snow Moon Dance will help support cancer patients in the Region One area with their day to day living expenses. The Jane Lloyd Fund is a fund within the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.
